We were curious to see how it would handle from a noise perspective.

If you examine these, or the full sized RAW files on the site, you will see that image noise is very well controlled on the K10D digital camera at 100 and 200ISO, is noticeable at 400ISO and becomes very strong and objectionable at 800 and 1600ISO. So you can’t really describe the K10D as an ideal camera for very low light work. That said image quality is very good at the lower ISO settings.
