Over the last month I’ve been doing a lot of photography out in the country. Some of this has been of wild areas but much of it has been the rural farm country. I shot with my converted for infrared Canon 350D digital camera, mostly with either my Canon 100-400mm L series lens or with a Tamron 10-24mm f3.5-4.5 lens I have on loan for review. So here are a selection of images from these shoots.
Great shots Wayne. I shoot a lot if IR too. It looks like you have the white balance very well set, many times I have it off a little and get the red tint to my photos. I use a Nikon D40X converted to IR and am very happy with it. Also I do a lot of false color in Photoshop Elements, just simple adjustments. Nice work!
Thanks Steve. Yes I do use a custom white balance on my converted camera and that gets the colour just right. I also do individual channel adjustment later in PS as I want to so I can shift the colour further if it suits the image.
