We test the Sony H5 digital camera for its ability to take infrared shots when using a Hoya R72 filter
In this test we went out with the Sony H5 and a good tripod, with a Hoya R72 infrared filter.
The H5 is certainly capable of taking some very nice IR shots. The IR blocking filter is relatively weak.
Full sun exposures were around 0.3 second and f2.8 at 80ISO.
